If you enjoy working with wood then you’ve come to the right place! The Sydney Northern Beaches Woodturners Club was founded in 1993 to expressly foster the art of woodturning.

Here you can draw on the experience and expertise of our members to learn the art of woodturning, to improve your skills and technique, and take your turning to the next level – all in the company of a friendly bunch of fellow woodies.

We have all the wood turning tools you need to get started and our fully-equipped Forestville workshop has more than 10 lathes and other essential woodworking machinery including bandsaws, sanders, and sharpening grinders.

You can have hands-on tuition, full access to our resource library, and demonstrations by Club members and visiting professional turners and other events.
